The trailer for GOODBYE STRANGER has been released today. The debut feature film by director Aaron Rookus will be showing in Dutch cinemas from April 20th, following its world premiere at the Rotterdam International Film festival this January.
GOODBYE STRANGER tells the story of an all-too-ambitious playlist curator at a major music streaming company, who finds himself on a soul-searching summer day’s odyssey across his adopted Amsterdam.
The film’s cast consists of Dutch actors like Martijn Lakemeier and Claire Bender, as well as musicians making their acting debut like British Jake Isaac and Dutch singer-songwriter Blanks.
The film is also the feature film debut for screenwriter Wander Theunis.
Goodbye Stranger is produced by Laurette Schillings, Frans van Gestel, Arnold Heslenfeld of Topkapi Films in co-production with BNNVARA.
Distributor Gusto Entertainment will release the film in cinemas on April 2oth in The Netherlands.
