Pony Place, the short film by director Joost Reijmers and writer Thomas van der Ree, won the audience award at the Aspen Shortfest 2014, one of the world’s biggest international film festivals with a focus on short film. The film was selected out of 3000 admissions.
Recently the film also won the Short Film Award at the International Emden-Norderney Film Festival.
Pony Place tells the story of young Emma, who is prohibited from taking her tablet on holiday. She asks her grandparents to look after her digital horse farm.
The short film is produced by Topkapi Films and is part of KORT!, a cooperation of NTR, the Netherlands Filmfund, the Dutch Mediafund and the CoBO fund.
