Felix van Groeningen wins the Best Director Award at the Sundance Film Festival with his fifth feature film Belgica, part of the World Dramatic Competition.
Belgica tells the story of two brothers who run bar ‘Belgica’ together. The bigger the success of the bar, the more the brothers lose each other.
The screenplay is written by Arne Sierens and Felix van Groeningen. The music is composed by Soulwax.
March 2nd the film will be released simultaneously in Belgium, France and The Netherlands (September Film).
