In this series we dive into the minds of successful con artists to unravel the psychology that underlays some of the most extraordinary cases of deception in recent history. A team of experts in the fields of forensic psychology, behavioral science, and neuroscience look into the minds of Christophe Rocancourt, Matthew Cox, Frederic Bourdin, Jan Lewandowski, Shaun Greenhalgh and Helmut Kiener, uncovering the unconscious meanings and motivations behind their actions. We look at what makes the art of conning so fascinating, why we are so susceptible to being conned and what the revelations of these con artists expose about ourselves.
There will be a new episode of INSIDE THE MIND OF A CON ARTIST broadcasted each Wednesday until August 10th inclusive at 22:08 CET. The series can also be streamed in full through the Dutch platform NPOStart.
